I am stuck on the leg of the quest for Cane the spider. I have completed all of the other pieces and have collected the 5 hairy spider eggs(and also come across another 15 that I didn't need to collect) but I have yet to find the spider web. Basically all I need to know is am I missing a step here or have I just been unlucky so far with the drop? Most of the other pieces were fairly quick to come by so the fact that this one piece has taken more than the others combined now had me worried that I was doing something wrong. Thank you!

I went from glorious to somewhere in the negatives twice farming that stuff. The web will drop off the same pixies. I ended up getting 2 before finishing the 5 eggs.

  Only certain pixies drop the items needed for this quest.

 I suggest you Animal Lore the pixies before attacking them. The ones with 1000, or more, Hit Points will have a chance to drop the quest items needed. After that it is pretty much a matter of RNG. 

 I end by saying luck to you, this quest takes a little time; but it is one of my favorites.

Thank you, I figured it was just a stretch of bad luck but it's nice to be sure that you aren't running in the wrong direction.

It's a very long quest but awesome.

I liked so much.

Be patient, read the tips from NPC very well and kill monsters like there's not tomorrow.
