We had an issue with the server software upgrades this month and have been working on the problem. Today the server froze again and we are at the mercy of the tech support atm.  We are waiting on a manual reeboot of the server.  We will let you know when we get more details.

Sorry again for the long delays on getting the server up again.  The ISP is being very vague about what the issue is atm and I am very frustrated with the lack of customer service and tech support. 

"The action flag is stuck for your VDS, indicating a problem specific to your VDS. The machine itself has recovered and is online. Your VDS itself is having a unique issue that requires his attention. We have taken the appropriate steps to reach out to him and he will fix your specific service as soon as he is able to."

They are saying I have to wait for the head guy to trigger the reboot and no one has the proper admin codes to do it...so we are waiting

If I don't get this resolved tonight, I can assure you I will set up a new server with another ISP by tomorrow and have us up and running no matter the cost.  I have never experienced such bad service before...

+1000 ;D  Dante is the best server owner ever. Always on top of issues and communicates to the player base. Thank you Dante and staff for always making EVO the greatest and most enjoyable UO server.

After the downtime yesterday, I got extremely motivated to move the server to a new ISP.  We needed to move anyways since the population has doubled over the last year, but this incident made this a priority.  We spent the day choosing a new top ISP and are preparing the move.  I have picked out some expensive upgrades that should significantly improve the speed and save times along with having a 24/7 tech support team.  I was waiting to save up some donation money, but this became too critical for me to wait.  If anyone was planning on donating, this would be a great time to pitch in.


We are going to do the upgrade asap so make sure you are logging in with play.uoevolution.com and not the current IP
