IS there some trick to killing these? They vanish every time I get one below around half

what i do is have them on tracking already so when they disappear i can go ahead and go right to them. Once you find where the arrow is use reveal to bring them back out. They only hide like that the one time so your good at that point.

Tried this today and could not get it to reveal? DO they ever change floors?

Put a Pet on follow and check on their nose after it tele/hides  :p
 
I find tracking buggy and not always right on the arrow , quicker this way , but be WARNED once you find them it will attack the pet on follow first

Track and follow the arrow. When the arrow suddenly changes direction use reveal. You will need high tracking ... he is tricky

Try casting reveal on yourself when the arrow changes

you can also use a bleed attack or a cu sidhe pet that has a bleed attack, when the demon hides it'll still show blood on the tile its hiding on!

Wildfire will do the same as bleed attack as well, if you cast wildfire it will show the tile location
