When a 13-year-old Senzo falls head over heels in love with a wealthy, upper-class black girl Ayanda who goes on a field trip with her Moral C classmates to visit a township school, Senzo decides to win Ayanda over by writing a love poem for her. This unfortunately brings on the wrath of his arch nemesis Jasper who wants Ayanda for himself which in turn results in Ayanda dismissing poor Senzo’s efforts altogether.
Jump forward sixteen years later when Senzo (29) has had little luck in his life and resorts to scheming operating under the name Phrophet Mazinga, he claims to heal all sorts of ailments, as well as solve bad luck, get people jobs, enlarge penises and bring back their lost lovers. Meanwhile Jasper and Ayanda have also grown up and her family is even wealthier than before and Jasper has his sights set on marrying her just to obtain a portion of the family wealth. When Ayanda spurns him yet again Jasper takes the advice of his mistress Lebo to go see a prophet to bring back his lost lover, which coincidently turns out to be Phrophet Mazinga himself.
Upon Japser’s visit Senzo puts the pieces of the puzzle together and concludes that this is his second chance to get Ayanda and decides to use the information Jasper gives him to win Ayanda for himself.
