What makes UO Evolution and the community special to YOU?

I get asked this question all the time.  I would like to hear about the player's experience and what Ultima Online and UO Evolution Shard means to you

well, at first. i should say , english isnt my native lang. so , excuse me if this is hard to read. i started to play here at beta test stage ( with hiatus ) and always  was a fun shard. with great community and great staff, always polite, i never seen Dante , Zoe or staff , get mad with players ,( despite off sometimes there was many reason to  get mad). But ..last time.. life was hitting hard to me (hard times, bad days)and on of those day i recieve a christams card from Dante and Zoe. To me this make a difference.its shows EVO spirits

Greetings evo Staff, you have the best place here.

  At first it was the community of players and staff. It is often hard to find staff members in a gaming world who will spend time talking to players each day. None of the newer MMO's have that kind of staff.   

  Lately it is the new content. It is hard to find a free-shard that is trying it's best to balance content. Sure the old school dungeons that Expo and Kane are working on might not be a challenge for Vet players. However, it's going to take a long while before any of them find themselves bored whilst adventuring in them. Good thing there are so many dungeons to choose from. 

  Lastly, its the forums. Great conversations are going on here almost everyday. Each day, I turn on my computer, is another chance for me to read about something new in EVO, match wits with Spainkevin and Emperor Norton, or plainly speak my mind, for all the flamers to see.

The presence and engagement of all of the staff members - Dante, Kane, Domino, Vulcan - is amazing. It makes such a huge difference. That's something that servers usually get wrong but you guys have so right. Players aren't wondering whether the server has been forgotten about or neglected by jaded staff. It's completely the opposite. We know that you're there and that you're either doing something fun or working on something fun.


And the quality of the content you put out!! I've NEVER played on a server where the staff's idea of fun was really truly so much fun, haha... Evolution doesn't just deliver content, it has top-notch content in all areas. Deco, auctions, quests, dungeons, bosses, etc.


You all do more than anyone could expect and it doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated!

i like the ability to have up to 10 petslots, that was my first intension to play here bc i like packinstinktpets..and pets are easier to levle as on my old shard.


- hue-room: i love all these colours and the ability to colour 98% of the items of evo with it
- special pets like manticore, fairy dragon, undead worg...great pets and good ingame-targets for new tamers
- special quests like vecna or KAS-quest with hard or very hard bossmobs
-monthly quest: one of the greatest things..many other shards miss things like these longtime-events
- discovering the shard: if i have time i run across britannia and most time i find a new thing to explore..the moongates makes         players lazy but its worth to run across the land
- 300-400 online players
- friendly and helpfull staff: i never had a bad meeting with a staffmember and especially Kane is doing great work
-special dungeons like tinkerdungeon oder dungeon of SIN
-friendly community and helpfull veteran players (shena, thallos etc.)

The community keeps me here. I have made such good friends in the time that I have been here. The staff is the other reason.. Y'all are amazing and go out of your way for the players.
