Halloween is always one of the favorite times of the year for players AND staff! We have added a lot of new content, quests and stealables this year, along with the seasonal opening of the infamous "Haunted Hallows" graveyard!

Haunted Hallows Graveyard

The Haunted Hallows is a Halloween Themed event that runs on UO Evolution for the entire month of October. It will be open 24/7 all of October. Hallows consists of two levels with a few secrets. The first level, the graveyard is less challenging (Note I say LESS- Hallows itself can be vary challanging for newer players...though not impossible)

Level 2 is far more challanging and not meant for the newest citizens of Evolution.

You will find Halloween themed monsters, decorations for your home, equipment and more in the Hallows. Check every corpse and every treasure chest. Watch for unique stealables. Collect the special pumpkins to purchase items from the purchase stone(s) in the lobby area.

When is the Haunted Hallows Open?

October 1, 2020- to October 31, 2020

How do I get to the Haunted Hallows?

Go to any Public Moongate > Quests, Events and Games> Haunted Hallows 2020
There is a PASSWORD to get in. If you examine the orange wooden sign hanging on the corrupted tree, there is a clue as to what you need to say to get in.

What can I do with my pumpkins?

Pumpkins can be spent on the Haunted Hallows Vendor Stones in the loby area. The display tables will have a LIMITED number of special purchases. The Main stone items are not limited, but are subject to change.

There are also a NUMBER of Quest NPC's that require pumpkins as a turn in, or part of a group of turn ins. The following questgivers will ask for pumkins:

HALLOWEEN House Deco Contest!

The spookiest time of the year is upon us!
The best Halloween House Design will take the prize!

Rules:
1.    Any size house can be entered however please deco it in its entirety. (if you have 4 joined 18x18's – you must decorate all 4 plots)
2.    Must be Halloween themed. Please do not enter grass plots with various Halloween items locked down.
3.    Do not enter a house with vendors unless the entire plot and vendors are decorated and in the Halloween theme.
4.    Deeds may be used, but there must be a balance of deeds and originality.

To submit your entry, place a rune to your house with YOUR NAME on it in SAYLA'S mailbox (Orange mailbox with black cat on top) located at NEW Rune Library.   Send Sayla a PM in game or on Discord to let her know you are entering the contest.

Winner Announcement: November 2nd

Houses will be judged on effort, originality, and staying within the theme!

1st Place Winner - 700MPD & a Gift Box (deco and goodies)

Halloween Backpack Art Contest!- Hosted by Domino
This year we are doing a THEMED Backpack Art Contest! The best Halloween Art will take the prize!

How to enter:
1.    You must present the backpack, to Domino IN GAME (pictures are not sufficent for entry). Drop your backpack in my mailbox, located at NEW Runelibrary (with the pumpkin on top)- Backpacks WILL be returned as soon as they are screenshot so any valuable items you will get back asap!

2.    Place a blue book in your backpack with your GAME NAME,DISCORD NAME, and the TITLE of your work

3. PM me in game or in Discord once you drop off your entry!

4. There will be only one entry PER ACCOUNT! (not per person)

There are 8 that will require Detect Hidden. All stealables will require a minimum Stealing skill of 100-350

As all Hallows Eve approaches, evil becomes much stronger and the citizens need to be vigilant tonight. The full moon is rising and as darkness falls, the undead rise from their graves. All of the evil champion monsters will spawn at the same time and attempt take over Britannia...drive them back to the depths of the Stygian Abyss! Armageddon has begun!
