Druid Cult Quest

In the land of Ilshenar, a group of elder druids had long harbored a deep resentment towards the realm's ruler. They saw the forests as their rightful domain, and they resented any who would dare encroach upon their territory. Over time, their anger festered and grew until it turned into something far more sinister.

These druids became obsessed with power, and they began to study the dark arts. They learned how to twist the forests to their will, summoning dark creatures to do their bidding. They became the leaders of a cult, called the "Dark Ones" and insired a growing group of followers to start worshiping them as gods.

Their ultimate goal is to destroy the realm. They believed that the forests should be ruled by the strongest, and they saw themselves as the strongest of all. They began to twist the forests with evil magic, causing the trees to animate and the animals to become twisted and corrupted minions.

Each of the elder druid cult leaders headed off to the 4 corners of Ilshenar to plant their evil seeds upon Sosaria

The Quest Details

Gather your group of adventurers and defeat the 4 Druid Cult Leaders and their evil minions, this is the equivalent of a double champion spawn and is meant for a group.

Collect the 4 types of seeds and use them to "level up" your augments, (see Sockets/Augments) and (see RME and Seeds for details)

OR,If you choose to destroy your evil seeds in the ancient fire pit, you will receive a "blessing", collect 10 blessings and you can summon xxx Superboss (testing, coming soon)

This quest will be expanded over time

Elspeth Darkthorn

Elspeth Darkthorn, a cunning and manipulative druid who was once hailed as a prodigy for her ability to commune with the spirits of the forest. However, her insatiable desire for power led her to make a pact with a powerful black daemon, which granted her immense magical abilities but also corrupted her soul beyond redemption.

Location: Stygian Abyss, Secret Garden area

Minions:

• She has also conspired with the Semidar and controls the Abyss Champion Spawn along with a new set of minions in the summoned to the area

Thorne Bloodleaf

Thorne Bloodleaf, was once a staunch defender of the natural world, using his magic to protect the forests and the creatures that lived within them. However, his love for the forest eventually turned into an obsession, and he became convinced that the only way to save it was to control it completely. He began to experiment with dark magic, making blood sacrifices to raise the dead to serve him. He began using his evil powers to bend the will of the creatures around him and transform them into twisted abominations of flesh and bone.

Location: The Druid Blood Lord is found (randomly) outside the Blood Dungeon in Ilshenar

Minions:

He has also conspired with Primeval Lich and controls the Undead Primeval Lich Champion Spawn along with a new set of minions in the summoned to the Blood Dungeon area.

Vayne Crystalmist

Vayne Crystalmist, was always an enigmatic figure, even among her own kind. Her magic was mysterious and unpredictable, and many whispered that she had made a pact with the dark powers that lurked beyond the veil of reality. Vayne's true motivations were known only to herself, but her crystal powers made her a valuable ally to the other three druids in their quest for power.

Location: The Druid Crystal Lord is found (randomly) outside the Virtue Shrine in Ilshenar

She has also conspired with the twisted Ilhenir the Stained and controls the Corrupt Champion Spawn along with a new set of minions in the Virtue Shrine building.

Ruut Ironfist

The Ancient Druid Ruut Ironfist was a disciple of Lord Blackthorn himself! Little is known about his past, and even his fellow druids spoke of him only in hushed whispers. He is a master of mechanical magic and illusion, able to create metal creatures and make golems bend to his will. Some say that Ruut was the true mastermind behind the group's plans, manipulating the other three druids from behind the scenes to achieve his own sinister goals.

Location: The Druid Metallic Lord is found (randomly) outside the Exodus Dungeon in Ilshenar

He has also conspired with the Master Blacksmith and controls the Champion Spawn along with a new set of minions summoned to the Exodus dungeon area.
