Pirate Doubloon Quest
Starting Location: Start searching the world for these specific named Captains
Reward 1: You can possibly receive a "Named Doubloon" from each of the ship Captains!
Reward 2: Also look for the special "Pirate Gold" coins on the corpses (found during pirate month in September) Pirate gold can be redeemed on a vendor stone in Bucs Den for prizes
Reward 3: You can choose to turn in a complete set of the 8 named pirate coins and get the base Admirals Hat as your reward, then you can add the coins to level it!
Doubloons
The Pirate Doubloons are small gold coins, which are labeled with one of the specific named Captains below
You need the doubloons to "Level up" the Admiral's Hat artifact. The skills start at +1 and by using the doubloons you can eventually level the admiral's hats skills to +20
You can also turn in an entire set of the doubloons for a special reward during pirate month in September
Admiral's Hat
The Admiral's Hat is a powerful item you can earn from doing the Pirate Champion Spawn OR from turning in a full set of the Doubloon coins. The item originally drops randomly with one, two or three combat skills. You then can add the various "Captain's Doubloons" to add more skill points to the max level as seen in the screenshot (see Admiral Pirate Hat) information
The Doubloon Quest
The blood-thirsty pirates have invaded our lands once again! You are needed by our military to seek out the Leadership of the dread pirates and kill all the Captains of their fleet. You may need a sturdy ship to get to most of these far-away locations, but if you are successful, you will be greatly rewarded for your service to the realm!
